Borovets Bulgaria
Borovets is located on the Rila mountain range, in the west of Bulgaria. Bulgaria is situated in eastern Europe bordering Turkey, Romania, Greece, Macedonia and Serbia. During the winter months from December to April, Borovets becomes one of Bulgaria's most popular ski resorts. While during the summer months it turns into a downhill mountain bike resort.
Borovets is Bulgaria's oldest ski resort due to it's ideal location and altitude. The base of Borovets is at an altitude of 1300m with the highest lift rising to 2560m above sea level. The nearest International airport is in Sofia 73kms away making it a fairly easy transfer.
Borovets has a wealth of culture and plenty of activities for the whole family. The ski school here is English speaking and has a very good reputation, especially for beginners.
